July 14, 2022 - Walla Walla Syrah Festival "Vintage Pour" (Cavu Cellars, Walla Walla): Nearing its peak of drinking window. Chewy wine with pepper, spice and dark currants. Medium finish. Drink soon.

September 1, 2013 - Was expecting a crowd pleaser but this was surprisingly good. Floral nose and smoky plum/leather flavors. Wife liked it too so it must have tasted like chocolate to her. Velvety finish, not too tannic for something so young.

November 28, 2012 - Good fruit, good nose from the moment the bottle open. Paired well with lamb burger and salmon salad. Almost identical to the tasting at the winery a month ago. Would probably cellar but perfect to drink now after 15-20 minutes of air.
