Community Tasting Notes 8

August 23, 2015 - Best rose I've had in a long while. Elegant, peppery, Syrah like nose, fresh, slightly bitter/herbal finish, which adds to the overall food friendly character of this wine. And this is after two days being open, recorked and storedin the fridge.

October 13, 2014 - Interesting wine. Almost dark, cranberry color, with nose of strawberries, cherries, and roses. Full mouthfeel (for Rose) and relatively short finish. Wine that needs to be drunk up, but worth trying.

July 24, 2014 - Bottle was vinegary and oxidized. Cork was saturated up to the foil.

November 26, 2013 - A serious, alcocholic rose. Has some structure and backbone, vanila, sweet cherries on palate. (B)

March 23, 2013 - San Francisco Rhone Rangers (San Francisco): onion skin in color. floral, red fruit, earth, on the nose. smoke, strawberry, mineral, sage, bitter fruit, on the palate. mild acid, on a light crisp finish.
