Community Tasting Notes 3

June 11, 2016 - Medium intensity crystal clear yellow wine. Butterscotch and Meyers lemon on nose and palate. The use of new oak appears very restrained with emphasis on the fruit. Pleasant but relatively short finish.

September 3, 2013 - Golden color with oak tones on the nose. Light citrus and honey with medium tropical fruit flavors. Very balanced chard - paired very well with broiled chicken and pesto orzo.

November 3, 2012 - We really enjoyed this one at the $35 price point. Nose definitely had some oak to it and I was worried it would carry through heavy handedly to the palate. No need to be concerned there. This was a really nice young chardonnay. Great fruit and well balanced with a long finish. This is certainly drinkable now but should improve with a couple years cellar time.
