February 3, 2021 - Dried currents, black raspberry and boysenberry on the nose. Perfectly balanced with wonderful mouthful, dark berry flavors and clean, lovely finish.

May 17, 2019 - The Walter Hansel Pinots never seem to disappoint. This had a lovely nose of strawberries and warm spices. On the palate the fruit is vibrant but not overstated, strawberries and currants, spice. Great mouthfeel. Polished tannins, crisp acidity and beautiful balance. The finish is long and graceful with black cherry and spice. A really lovely and perfectly mature Pinot. There is no reason to wait on these, but you could drink and enjoy them for another 5 to 10 years. 14.5% ABV but no heat at all.

November 6, 2018 - Wow what a delicious mature Pinot. Elegant, Earthy, and with ample bright fruit. PnP and drank with Salmon/seafood chowder. I love this producers wines... so consistently delicious. Looking forward to my remaining two bottles over the next several years.
