January 23, 2023 - Nose: coconut, mango, tropical fruits, vanilla cake, peach, white flower
Notes: still very vibrant and lively. Starting to get a little golden in color, this Williams Selyem is oily and full bodied but does not lack the elegance of a great Chardonnay. I'm pleasantly surprised by the energetic and fruit driven nose offered by this wine. Without a doubt this is an excellent aged Charonnay but again this could well be a bit too fat and oily for my palate. Still has plenty of life ahead of it but I'm sure it should stand perfectly for another 6-8 years.
    Drink: now - 2030

January 13, 2019 - Pale yellow color, nose of apple and pear with floral background, apple/pear fruit, some spice and minerals, touch of vanilla. long smooth finish. Wine has aged very well. Our last bottle. Great with Ivory King Salmon.

August 27, 2017 - disjointed mess. oak is clumsy and buttery/crappy. have found this producers wines dont age well.

April 12, 2017 - Split the difference between village Montrachet and very high-end Sonoma chard. Touch of saline, subtle pear/orchard fruit, touch of baking spice, gentle minerality. Can go further, but don't see it getting better (doesn't need to get better as it is lovely now : ) .

January 31, 2017 - Still very nice, but not as good as the last bottle. Time to drink up. Very pleasant notes of vanilla and tropic fruit. Complex as always.
