July 3, 2021 - Fresh, but of strawberry and cherry, medium bodied with no flabbiness. Decent finish. Very nice.

April 17, 2021 - Brief note. Good Central Otago pinot. Under screw cap. Lighter weight with vibrant and fresh acidity. Some sweet red cherry and berry fruit but also some savoury, underbrush development. Dried herbs, spices and strawberries. Tannins now well integrated. Decent length, finishing dry. Probably to drink over the next five or so years.

January 21, 2021 - 2019: A magic number for Felton Road as well with Nigel Greening and Dimitri Walters (67@Home Zoom Tasting): Early maturity. Medium body. Quite fragrant. There’s some richness of fruit and warm spices with a bit of worn leather. Nice acidity and finish

December 24, 2020 - A most excellent Pinot - fruit driven upon opening bordering on cordial like but after 2 hours, became savoury and much more refined and flexible and layers of complexity to enjoy. Not in the top shelf but an excellent drop all the same. Drink now to 3+ years.

December 17, 2020 - Part of a Felton Road virtual tasting. Tasted together with 2011 Block 3 and Block 5 and the same wines from the 2008 vintage. Strawberry notes, touch of oaks and cinnamon. Palate shows mostly strawberry fruit with sweet oak. Little thin on the mid palate and moderate finish.
