October 31, 2014 - Quite disappointed. I know this one said cab, but there was plenty of either cheap syrah or malbec in this one to try to give it some thickness and was not well received. The wine was a little sweet similar to the Bello cab, with a little flint on the opening, cab for a glimpse but was all either syrah or malbec in the middle. Maybe a hint of Merlot on the finish with a little earthiness. This wine is medium bodied AT MOST, and I don't see it lasting longer than a few years. The core is quite thin, with metallic secondary characteristics that are a little off putting. Glad I only have one of these.
