October 19, 2022 - I don't recall where I got this wine from or how much I paid, but found it it lurking in the cellar and it's aged beautifully. Dark and brooding fruit but not overly extracted, everything perfectly integrated.

January 23, 2018 - Three and a half years since my first one and it has held up well. Beautifully profound nose. Deep flavor with a refreshing backbone of acidity and soft tannins. Long finish. Thank you, Denis Malbec RIP.

September 8, 2016 - Mostly domestic wine dinner (Eddie V's - Tysons Corner): Surprisingly mature nose, subtle red fruits, plum, noticeable green, cedar, tobacco and earth. Medium concentration, good acidity, slightly coarse tannins and medium long finish that ends with red fruit, green pepper and cedar. Good wine but not too remarkable.
