August 10, 2023 - This was good but not as amazing as some of the other Arcadian Sleepy Hollows I've had. No signs of decline but just a bit flat compared to some other bottles.

September 2, 2022 - really nice, med - full bodied, but not OTT like some CA pinots can be... nice acidity for balance and hint of spices... palate was maybe two-thirds fruit but the rest was secondary

April 9, 2016 - This bottle was, to me, starting on its downslope. The aromas are dominated by brown sugar and some stewed fruit notes. It's broad and fruity on the palate, but there doesn't seem to be enough grip left to support the size in the mouth. It's a really interesting example of larger (but not largest) scaled CA Pinot from the style prevalent in the early '00s has aged, and it's certainly still enjoyable, but I wasn't excited by where it is now. I'd recommend drinking one if you've got them to see for yourself.

What a treat to try this wine for the first (and potentially last) time! According to the winemaker, this wine is now all but gone from the winery's cellar. This was noticeably riper, or at least more fruity, than the '01 vintage of the same, which I tasted alongside. That having been said, this was still rather easy to drink, as I found it to be medium bodied. On the rich side of Pinot Noir, for Arcadian, but plenty of acidity to balance out the fruit; notes of spice, camphor, and leather added pleasant complicating notes to the mix. This struck me as being in a nice, "relaxed" adolescent stage of its evolution --- *maybe* in its prime drinking window right now, but I wouldn't be shy about waiting another couple years on it, as the fruit seemed to be mostly primary in nature. Atypical for an Arcadian Sleepy Hollow Pinot, but I liked it quite a lot.

February 14, 2015 - Drunk shortly after the '02 Gold Coast, this shows much more aromatic complexity and depth on the palate. Bright and focused, but still substantial fruit on the palate. Drink now, although it's not going anywhere soon.
