August 10, 2013 - Brickish red color; nose very similar to a light style Napa Cabernet with vegetal green pepper notes, black cherry, and spice. Medium bodied with dark berry fruit on the mouth, consistent from start and with a long, nice finish. A great Virginia red that lacks the overly mineral, chemical flavors of so many from the state.
