December 5, 2014 - Taste of dark & sour cherries, dried herbs, slight espresso. Tart finish. High acidity but in balance.

March 16, 2014 - Went beautifully with braised beef short rib and portobello mushroom rotini. Lean body, tight tannins, but plenty of fruit. Wonderful acidity made this a great pairing and cut through the fat on the short ribs. Opened at noon, drank with dinner at 5:00 and finished it at lunch on Monday. It needed it.

Licorice, red fruits. Mineral.
This wine stands up straight to my mustard vineagrette and garden greens.
