    December 10, 2023 - Aged Cru Beaujolais (San Francisco): Deeper red. Gorgeous nose with licorice, menthol, and pungent fruit. Medium bodied, saline, soil base. Mixed black and red fruit, citrus, and moderately long finish. This gained richness and dimension with time in the glass. Subtle and delicious (the anithesis of the Burgaud wines tasted in an earlier flight).

    December 31, 2021 - Excellent Morgon and from magnum this showed in its prime. Aromas of natural fermentation, but also floral and red fruited. Masculine, but without overdoing it. Very nice.

    August 10, 2019 - Out of magnum. Fresh, silky and delicious. All the structure has resolved and the shape of the wine is exactly what I want from Morgon. Sappy fruit with complicating meadow and floral notes, lots of blues and lilac. I wouldn't cellar these any longer, why miss this?

    October 7, 2018 - Oeil rubis trouble;
    Nez "fondu", fruité quasiment effacé, plus subtil qu'à ce que je suis habitué pour un Beaujolais. Notes de terre humide & d'épices brunes (girofle, poivre). Légère pointe de cerise sûrette & fermière.
    Bouche quasi austère, fruité très subtil (cerise sûrette), épices & terre plus en avant plan. Finale épicée, qqchose d'amère & astringent. Acidité toujours bien présente. Bojo plus sérieux.

    December 26, 2017 - From magnum. Drank over a family dinner, so no TN, from memory.
    Smoky and barnyardy nose, quite intriguing. Fresh and juicy palate, with an earthiness and depth which make it very interesting and sip after sip call for your attention - besides being hugely enjoyable and drinkable right now.
