  May 8, 2022 - Medium garnet color. Red berries on the nose. Tasty gala apples dominate with delicious mixed red berries. Fantastic, though on a downward slope from the last time I had it.

Though I proclaim to be a devotee of the more subtle , refined styles of the Bordelais, I do enjoy on occasion a big, full-throated, concentrated California cab (not those insipid supermarket versions). This one ticks all the boxes; one can just chew on every mouthful for hours (not literally).

  July 6, 2019 - Medium, slightly dull garnet. Medium Indian spices and blackberry bramble on the nose. Sweet raspberry vanillin, Indian spices, strawberry confit. I remember it being more striking in earlier incarnations.
