August 10, 2007 - Liquid oak! Either this bottle was strangely flawed, or the winemaker chose to grind some of the barrel into the wine. Nearly undrinkable.

January 20, 2007 - Very drinkable. Lots of nose and sliped down very well. No need to rush as plenty of life left in this wine.

January 16, 2007 - A decent claret. Rather tight on the nose with a clenched midpalate of red fruit, leather and notes of licourice. Tanins still strong on the finish. Not too dilute, butu not particularly charming either.
