November 15, 2012 - TN: Barbaresco, Barolo, Ridge + (Pranzos): Pop and poured, this is not ready yet. Ruby/purple in color. The nose has lots of dark cherries, some tar and roses. Not that big. On the palate, this took some time to open up. As it was the last wine of the night this never really got a chance. Still, it is very good right now, just primary. More dark cherries on the palate. Nice balance.

April 9, 2011 - Dinner with friends: This was popped and poured. It would have benefited from decanting as it just seemed to get better and was gone. Ruby/purple in color. The nose is dusty, cherries, and some tar. Medium bodied. Showing some complexities, but really still kind of young. I had 6 of these and not made it to full maturity but all were really enjoyed. Cherries with some forest floor notes. Excellent acidity. Long finish.
