March 8, 2022 - Almost a year since the last CT reviewer said anything about this wine, so I'll pick up the torch and say this wine is past it's prime. Deep golden color but not much of a nose and flat on the palate. The bottle lacked any fruit or structure. I've had plenty of Kistler Hyde, and I know how good this wine can be. In this instance, it wasn't that great.

April 18, 2021 - Opened 30 mins prior to first glass and consumed over 3 nights (vacu-vin & back in cellar in interim). Golden straw color. Mostly vanilla and oak on nose. Ripe stone and tropical fruit on palate with vanilla and oak in background. Best on night 1, with good acidity and freshness. Faded over following evenings. Was considerably better a few years ago. Drink soon, preferably in one evening.

    July 14, 2020 - Similar to the 7/19/19 bottle.

January 2, 2020 - Light golden yellow. There is lemon, tangerine, minerals, and touches of caramel and butterscotch. Fruit is fading. Finishes with significant oak. I liked this more earlier in its life. Did well with roasted chicken.
