March 9, 2024 - If you can pass its strong smell, then it drinks well. A different type of Chardonnay. Good QPR.

October 8, 2023 - aromas of baked apples, toasted spice and herbs, curry, walnuts, caramel... super long and complex on the palate, very dry despite its sweet and nutty inner perfume, perhaps a little challenging, but this is stolid classic Jura, and was simply amazing with chicken and morels... probably a bit too young

May 18, 2020 - Complex nose of hazelnuts and butter along with a good dose of flor. The palate is rich and silky with great depth of flavour showing glorious orchard fruits and a lovely marine counterpoint. Tapers to a beautifully dry and mineral finish.

May 8, 2020 - I saw a comment here about this being cloudy. It isn’t - but it needs to be decanted well as there was very noticeable sediment here. Good stuff - lightly oxidized/sherry flavors, but not too much. Honey, hay, no real fruit. Paired this with a roasted monkfish on Romesco sauce and the richness plus mild spice was a perfect match with the wine.
