March 23, 2024 - Cork broke on opening, although no signs of leakage.
Quite purple.
Darker red fruit aromas. Black cherry, dried cherry.
Heat in the aroma and on the palate. It might be banging against the red pepper in dinner.
Nice flavors, tannin and acidity. Perhaps a bit of astringency.
Might have some small hints of oxidation. -

February 16, 2020 - An honest bottle of Brunello. Unpolished edges. Hear from the vintage pokes through a bit. Good for medium term drinking.
