December 23, 2021 - Very good Malbec representative of its location. This is still in great shape, easy can drink for 4/5 yrs as it is still full power attack! But with elegance, and decent freshness. If not for the Malbec definition, this somehow reminded a bit of the Supertuscan, at least for freshness, density and power/alcohol. Unfortunately I have a bit of a blocked nose tonight so will try again when feeling better

September 9, 2021 - Dense blackberry and black raspberry. Rich, structured, balanced, with grippy tannins. Somewhat oaky. It's got everything except flavor complexity. Quite tasty in the rich-fruited style. Based on this bottle it has years to go.

April 11, 2020 - Still a nearly impenetrable black/purple color. The nose is loaded with creosote and hot gravel after a summer rain. Medium-full bodied and extremely dense and concentrated. Loaded with high quality tannin and refreshing acidity. This is a perfect example of the style of high altitude, Mendozian wine. Concentrated but never heavy or lacking freshness. That said, this lacks something and is a bit overly tight. Drink now-2022+ (I think near term is better for the fruit and aromatics). 91
