Community Tasting Notes 11

November 24, 2022 - Needed something for cooking and drinking while cooking and this tastes really nice. Glad I found it. Been sitting on it for 10 years.

February 15, 2015 - This wine was a curveball at our blind tasting. The green pepper that typically sticks out on Carmenere was covered up by a bit of brett, which lead most people to think this was cab franc from bordeaux. An interesting and tasty departure from the norm in Chile, for sure.

June 8, 2014 - Nose of stagnant marshland. Bad flavor. Down the drain.

April 12, 2014 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like stoniness and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

April 6, 2014 - Solid carmenere, new world, plums, wood, dark berries, a little spice. Not as much fruit as I'd like, but drinkable enough.
