December 29, 2012 - Well, this is young and will mature and I hope get some more character over next 2-3 years. Decent price, but comes of like a fairly standard SB from NZ for example. That is not a bad thing.
Sounds like solid producer with good rating for prior vintages of this blend of Vermentino/SB (65/35). Very pale yellow in glass, nose is also light and has green apple and some minerality qualities. Palate is tart with acid but comes off kind of smooth and almost medium bodied. I get mainly citrus - lemon/lime on the front/mid palate and then the short/medium finish becomes a tad bitter moving towards white grapefruit...?
Like it overall and would like to try more over next 2 years.
