June 12, 2016 - White blossom, white peach and lemon. Rich, off-dry, amazingly in good shape for an '11; still a bit of acidity left.

April 18, 2014 - Really enjoying this. Not as acidic as previous years, but still possesses the same depth and character. Nicely done.

May 11, 2013 - Solid Oregon pinot gris. I like it! A step up from A to Z and Erath, but also an increase in price.

March 7, 2013 - Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Nose: Very fresh and crisp nose with tones of white fruits, pears, and floral tones.

Taste: Light bodied with crisp higher acidity. The tones of white fruits, white peaches, pears, and some floral tones.

Overall: This is a very good Pinot Gris. It had a very aromatic and floral take to it with nice depth.

January 25, 2013 - Bar a Vin 2010 Bordeaux Tasting (Tower Club, Republic Plaza, Singapore): Decent enough without being anything special - this reminded me more of the New Zealand interpretation of Pinot Gris rather than the sometimes great wines of Alsace. It had a rather pungent nose, with a deep woosh of almost Gruner Veltliner like lentil notes, before sweeter, aromatic notes of peach and nectarine, and plenty of perfumy floral notes floated to the fore. The palate was very dry though, very bright in fact, with more of those beany, lentil notes, and perhaps some peachy stone fruit in the background, but this was more about cirtussy lime and lemon flavours scored by mouthwatering acidity. Simple, but pleasant, with a little sprinkle of spice at the backpalate. An okay, easy-drinking wine.
