  January 8, 2015 - Air time made a huge difference, as it started out fairly stinky, but that blew off to show pleasant red fruit, leather, and a little earthiness. It wasn't as tart than the last bottle I tried, but still has a fair bit of acidity. A pretty good showing after more than 15 years under a synthetic cork.

  December 11, 2010 - I forgot this had a plastic cork, and it was a relief to smell the pretty syrah nose. Quite nice on the palate too, though finished short.
