  March 12, 2009 - i guess i've moved out of the aussie style wines. still, after all this time, heat!. doubt the fruit will outlive the heat. fruit seems to be fading.

  Nice. Not grand, but not hot, plenty of fruit remaining, but this eucalyptus note keeps coming through - I like it, fiancee calls it green. Good wine, not good enough to be taking up space in the cellar. Good Sunday night quaff.

  July 17, 2006 - 14% alc...initially extremely bretty, smokey, meaty driven to begin - will give it 30 mins to open...now the wine still shows that meatiness, but it is now accompanied by a dark red berry thing, as well as a f*cking cool herbaciousness...weighty, never alcoholic, sweet/ripe fruit, dried herbs, smoke. Very intriguing wine. Have a few left. Would like to see this in 2-3.

  October 14, 2004 - 14%...when was the last time you saw that alcohol on a premium bottling, perfect for those that dislike the 15+%ers...deep, rich color...rich, exotic nose, gorgeous red richness...on the palate this wine is full-bodied, dense, silky mid-palate, with a fairly tannic spine. Decanted for an hour prior to consumption.
