August 19, 2023 - Drank over a month, in and out of the refrigerator.
Lovely medium-orange color. Balanced, non-cloying, but honeyed and long on the finish. Supporting acidity gives it freshness. -

July 1, 2023 - Bordeaux Wimps June 2023 - 1945 (La Trompette): As we reach the end of proceedings emotional reactions start to move to the fore, and intellectual analysis recedes. Deep golden colour - lovely nose, my handwritten notes say "on the nose - fruits, so many fruits", this was exuberant but not over the top. Worked well with the crème brûlée.

April 25, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Four (Bordeaux): From Magnum. Controlled apricot jam backed by Seville orange marmalade. Medium plus acidity but less obviously Botrytised on the palate - a certain glycerol note but feels more late harvest. Nice.
