February 17, 2020 - Pretty amazing - I was expecting it to be way over the hill - turned out to be just fine. Columbia Crest, as usual, over-delivers!

January 26, 2017 - Still enjoyable but fruit is fading a bit. Dark red color with distinctive tannins. Hint of leather.

February 8, 2015 - Aromas of blackberry and cherry. Soft and open with a fruit forward relaxed style. Flavors of blackberry cobbler, black currant, anise, and hints of menthol. Slight drying tannin on the medium length finish. Improved slightly over the 1st hour.

The palate brings a surprising amount of fruit intensity matched by grainy tannins while still retaining a silky texture. 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Merlot. Aged in oak 16 months (33% new). 13.0% alcohol. Sample provided by winery. Recommended
