February 13, 2016 - This took a little while to offer up its full potential. Minerality is the defining descriptor of this wine as its prominent in the aromas and in the flavors. Also has citrus and stone fruit elements. Decant/early opening/ or more time are recommended if you have this wine.

April 17, 2013 - This is almost all 20 year old vines on Dijion clones. So old for the Willamette Valley region. Rich fruit expression on the nose, but quick on its feet and across the palate. The hill is refered to as "the corton hill" because its this one dramatic sweep that stands out from the valley. I kinda get it. 15 to 20% new french oak. Partial malo.

February 20, 2013 - A bit of the plastic thing of Chardonnay on the nose. but the palate works it out. Maybe it could be cleaner? Meaning what? More transparent flavors. Ok at $25.

December 29, 2012 - Blind Tasting - Chardonnays; 12/24/2012-12/29/2012: On the nose, aromas of pear and apple mingle with smoky minerals. I really like the mouthfeel, very silky, nice balance between acid and density. Green apple and pear flavors blend well with the creamy hazelnut aspect. There’s a nice mix of mineral and caramel on the finish.

(Stoller Family Estate Reserve Chardonnay Dundee Hills) An aromatically appealing wine that draws you into the glass with spice, almond, straw, pear, and candy corn. The palate is medium bodied with a textured feel and a streak of citric acidity that runs from start to finish. 100% Chardonnay. Barrel fermented and aged 10 months on lees in French oak (18% new). 13.5% alcohol. 883 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.

(Stoller Chardonnay Reserve) Light yellow color; ripe pear nose; tart pear, tart apple palate; medium-plus finish (clones 75, 95 & 96; 50% malo)
