January 6, 2024 - Still vibrant acidty, classic aged Chianti flavor - old leather and books, dried cherries. Really lovely. A bit muddy - needed to sit upright undisturbed for at least a hour. Once again I’m reminded how good old Chianti can be. Cork was bad - Durand to the rescue.

December 3, 2023 - Haven’t had one of these in a while so I thought I would check in. Full bodied. Raspberry, olives, leather, iron and cigars box come through. This is in early maturity and even shows a little unresolved back tannin. Very good showing at age 23.

September 23, 2023 - A bit cloudy in the glass. Displayed ample fruit and roundness. Very nice blend of tobacco and leather to balance the red fruits. Nice soft finish without sacrificing structure. Drinking very well - great with grilled red meat!

August 6, 2023 - Delicious. Didn’t need any breathing. Lots of sediment and should have planned better for that. Great nose. Crème brûlée or brown sugar notes.
