November 29, 2022 - It took about 45 minutes for this one to open up.
Raspberry color; a touch of loam on the nose.
Nice balance of fruit and savory notes. Still has a bit of tannic pucker; this one still has a few good years ahead of it. That said, I’m not sure it will develop much further. No harm on drinking then now if you’ve got ‘em. 92 points

Three hours later the wine is transformed:the sharp edges have been smoothed by silky tannins, leaving well-integrated deep black fruit, and balanced acidity. It’s readily apparent why Louis Jadot bought the vineyard. Impressive. 95 points

    September 14, 2022 - 30 minutes of air.
Dark ruby color; loam and spice nose.
The fruit is not immediately apparent, having been initially subsumed by lots of secondary and tertiary notes. The fruit that is present is dark: plum, blackberry, currant, etc. Terrific notes of cedar pencil, leather, cocoa, and mushroom are present. Lots of tannic structure indicates that this one still has sone mileage ahead of it. This is a strong effort and quite impressive for an 11 year-old Oregon Pinot. It will be fun to follow my remaining bottles. Stay tuned.

October 26, 2017 - Dark purple. Mildly spicy nose shows plum, spice cake, leather and wax. Tart but soft, dominated by red currant fruit, with a long mineral finish.

December 23, 2016 - Muddy deep color and aroma of crushed cherry skins. Measures of limp faded fruit mismatched but intense. Complicated but heavy

(Sineann Pinot Noir Resonance Vineyard Reserve Yamhill-Carlton) A two barrel selection from the oldest vines in the vineyard that came in at a mere one ton per acre in 2011, it’s more aromatically restrained and brooding than its non-reserve counterpart with notes of dark cherries, chocolate, smoke, mesquite, and spice. The palate is medium-plus bodied, somewhat more plump in feel, with a firm squeeze of oak-driven tannins and a finish that just doesn’t quit. 100% Pinot Noir. 13.8% alcohol. 50 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
