December 10, 2020 - What a treat. I bought this from a wine shop in Assisi and had it shipped across the pond with some others. I read about needing to decant for a few hours but my curiosity overwhelmed my patience after 30 minutes and I wish I had waited. I save a glass for a few hours later and it was better, quite rich, lots of confusing tastes but good. It could also spend more time in the cellar.

July 11, 2020 - Very interesting bottle and wine. Comes out orange, has a bit of a port note to it. Very smooth drinking.

July 8, 2019 - Third and final bottle of this that was bought on some sort of close out deal years ago. While other bottles were rustic and awkward, this was a bit backward on the first day but a half bottle sat in the fridge overnight and on the second day it drank really well. So clearly this needs either 2-4 more years or a solid decant to reveal a very elegant wine very similar in quality to a Barbaresco with lovely fruit and a strong structure. The violet and roses was there but well integrated. lovely wine.

July 7, 2019 - Beautiful tawny orange color as the wine had aged gracefully. The wine is showing very well now, glad I got to enjoy it at it's peak.
