Community Tasting Notes 1

October 7, 2012 - Excellent translucent color. Aroma - medium red fruit, but there is not enough high quality aromas to balance the alcohol. Flavor - back into a good balance with an appropriate amount of fruit balanced with some tannins at the finish. No oak to soften anything - but given the lighter style the wine is not harsh. The aroma is really only an issue if you are judging by nose alone. The wine is fine and will enhance the appropriate meals.
