May 7, 2023 - Bottle 2/3. Brown bricking on the edges. Smells almost bourbon barrel aged. Palate has a prune and maraschino cherry thing going on. Tannins are integrated well, but the palate does not really taste anything like my previous bottle (which I enjoyed much more). Some serious bottle variation here. One bottle left, will see how the dice rolls on that one.

January 4, 2021 - Phosphorus scents of gun powder and wet leather which transitioned to dramatic flavors of Cajun / Creole black pepper, cayenne pepper, black tea, and Asian spices. T’was a savage little beast for the first couple of hours, then it quickly melted into luxurious CdP opulence. Caveat: I’ve sampled several bottles with mainly positive but varied results. Cheers!

May 31, 2019 - Nez cuir, épices, noix. En bouche, tout est en rondeur, tanin soyeux, ampleur moyenne, bel équilibre. Très bien

September 19, 2012 - Corked, undrinkable. Second of two bottles drunk over three days.

September 17, 2012 - Dark and brooding, herbs and rocks on the nose with hints of dark red and black fruit. Almost purple in colour, teeth staining. After an hour or so started to open up, very young. Rich, very long, blueberries balckberries and very dark rasberries. Rather unevolved, got much better later in the evening, kept going back for more.
