January 26, 2024 - Agree with recent positive notes. Beautifully integrated and pleasant on the palate. Expressive nose and long, enjoyable finish. This note is from a magnum so from that perspective, there are many years left in this wine.

November 24, 2023 - Flat bottom decant for two hours really singing, Not overpowering in mouthfeel as some Saxums can do , this wine has aged nicely and was a beautiful pairing for a Roasted Chicken, emphasizing the spices of the chicken's seasoning. THiswine will contiunue to softenbeautifully and can be enjoyed now or inthe next few years.

November 18, 2023 - This shows it’s size and scale and is starting to dry out a bit mid palate. Still—a great example in the style. Very spicy with a strong white pepper note with a little game and meat. Fruit is developing and no longer primary. I would drink up—but that’s just my opinion.

October 15, 2023 - I had opened the bottle three hours before dinner and poured through vintorio. Dark fruit and a hint of spice on the nose, the palate was dark berries, and charred meat, tree bark and hints of spice. The finish goes on and on and on. It was a perfect accompaniment to the Jets upset win over the Eagles.
