Community Tasting Notes 15

July 16, 2016 - There's a touch of brett in this wine along with the black cherry, forest floor and currant notes. On the lighter, more elegant side of the spectrum with red fruit and earth tones. Nice finish.

February 28, 2015 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&C's): Dusty ruby color with aromas of rose petals, orange zest, red berries, cherry and perhaps even some tar. Cherry and red fruit on the palate, becoming almost Bordeaux-like as it sat with herb and tobacco qualities. Has a nice bit of acid too.

    October 22, 2011 - Wonderful, worth the wait. Mid-weight, French-Oregon PN.

February 8, 2011 - Very "Burgundian" style Oregon Pinot Noir. The nose is extremely earthy. One fellow drinker said it was "drinkable geography" which was very appropriate. Forest floor, mushroom, chalkboard, and rubber all coming through. As enticing as that sounds, the flavor was a little light which is going to hold me back from scoring this wine 90 pts. On the plus side, the mouthfeel was very soft. Clove and eucalyptus notes on the finish.
