August 1, 2014 - Good wine considering below average vintage. Medium bodied, has some of smell and bigger cola, raspberry flavor of central coast pinot but with more minerality and a cleaner structure. Pretty good wine for $30, perhaps some of other reviewers drank too early

March 19, 2014 - Dark, firebrick red. Cherries, strawberries, sandalwood, dried roses, and cream on the nose. Pinpoint and lively, with a rich and pliant texture, big, bold fruit, taut minerality, and good length on the granite-infused finish.

    September 14, 2013 - nose - supperripe fruit, raisiny
mouth - big fruit, bold for a pinot, not especially refined but decent enough

March 31, 2013 - Medium dark color, not surprising for the AVA and producer. Strawberry jam nose with tiny amount of spice. Lots of spice flavors with the strawberry and wood notes playing second chair. Nice overall wine and decent value when on sale.

December 8, 2012 - Very dark cherry red color; appealing, tart red berry, sous bois, herbs nose; tasty, tart cherry, tart red berry, sous bois palate; needs 2-plus years bottle age; medium-plus finish
