Rosengarten, you may recall, is a filet-piece in Lenchen, and so it is crammed with Oestrich fruit; a lovely mélange of juice and solidity and as fine and tasty as it’s ever been; long and fruit-driven but riven with salty stone and even a hint of 5-spice and apple compote. This is how dry is done, and it’s a SOMMELIER ALERT! With an SOS: 1. Wisselbrunnen is firmer and more nutty, with a toasty kind of mineral and high notes of plum blossom; firm and spicy. You slurp the Rosengarten but you chew this. +
