  September 5, 2020 - This was definitely on the back side of peak, but still enjoyable. Heavy and tannic, the fruit is mostly gone with muted secondary flavors. Could tell this was a great wine had it been consumed 5 years earlier.

  January 1, 2019 - What a fantasric blast from the past. Gorgeous, generous nose with sweet red and black fruit, a touch of leather and loads of character. Good acid on the palate, with tannin completely attenuated, and nice complexity.

  May 30, 2017 - This was hard to stop drinking! Still had the Red Mt. profile of deep, spicy black and red fruits with the long finish, but was smooth and starting to soften nicely. Think this had 5-10 more years of prime drinking.

  November 2, 2012 - This has really grown into a great wine. Smooth and silky with layers of cherries, berreis and currants. Bit of chocolate and cedar on the finish.
