January 24, 2023 - 14.4% abv. Bottle from a "mystery pack" at a recent auction.
    84% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauv.
Really lovely, resolved, new world Bordeaux blend. Plenty of mature fruit, open and expressive, balancing acidity, and very nicely integrated. Probably less fruit than in its youth, as this has an aged feel to it (I never tried this younger). My wife and I really enjoyed this. Much more alive than the 2000 version that we tried a week or so ago.

December 2, 2011 - Cedar and cinnamon on the nose. Full bodied with good acidity and robust tannins. Needed about an hour to come together.

February 13, 2011 - fairly austere. cherries and plums hanging off a very rigid back bone. May actually need some more time to open up.
