September 4, 2012 - With dinner at schloss hotel Korb near Bolzano 4 sep 2012. upon opening, very fresh, but lacklustre. Opened up to become a big and bold wine after about an hour (everything we drank before that was a bit of a waste). Then enjoyed this wine a lot. Freshness remained. Very acidic. Floral at first, later turning almondy and biscuity. Strong raisins smell and taste. Hard to believe this is 22 years old. Probably at its peak now.
