May 31, 2020 - Garnet / brick color; blackberries, ripe plums and spices on the nose; PnP lucious outpouring of black fruit -- cherries, blackberries, black raspberry and peach on the palate with a strong black and green pepper backbone. Excellent blend of fruit and acid, very soft tannins. It could very well be at its peak now. What a joy!

March 24, 2019 - Dark garnet in color; blackberries and black pepper in the nose. After 30 minutes, opened quite nicely. Dark fruit mingled with granite, cedar, plum and tobacco. Nicely balanced, medium finish.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of black fruit (very ripe blackberries, ripe black cherries), red fruit (tomato), herbaceous (blackcurrant leaf) and oak (clove, cedar).
The wine is off-dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has high coarse tannins and a high warm alcohol. It has a full body and medium(+) intensity flavours. The finish is medium.
It is a good quality wine. It has a persistent enough finish and concentrated flavours. However the alcohol is somewhat unbalanced and the tannins too coarse, it also could be more complex.
Can drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and fruit concentration to develop a bit more of complexity in the next 1-2 years.
It is not exactly my style, but I did not found that horrible. -

July 2, 2014 - bitter and heavy tobacco note on opening got better in fact considerably better 2nd and 3rd day.

December 13, 2013 - Strange wine. Some fruit and a lot of oak. Night in the fridge, did not help.
