September 6, 2015 - Always reliable. Smooth, lemony, refreshing and not expensive. We met it years ago and it's still right there among our favorite moderately priced chards!

December 6, 2014 - Apricot and peach pronounced but also pear and a bit of line. Makes a difference on temperature served for taste to cone through. Solid chardonnay.

July 1, 2014 - This is the basic Sonoma-Cutrer chardonnay, a blend from the estate vineyards, and it's quite nice. Nose: Light but fruity - green and yet soft. Mineral balances and complements the fruit. Taste: Light fruit - pear? citrus? River rock and a touch of oak. Finish: Lingering, blending fruit with minerals. Medium long. This wine is insistent from year to year. It's one of our house favorites.

    February 16, 2014 - Clear, starbright-pale yellow with green reflections, normal-heavy viscosity.

Clean and neutral nose, slight fruit aromas (green apple, lemon), pleasant not complex, some woodiness.

Medium-dry, refreshing acidity, medium body, and extended persistence. Honey, green apple, and minimal oak on the palate. Warm in the back of the mouth towards the throat.

A well balanced, fine, supple, and elegant wine.
