September 22, 2023 - Dense, deep red colour. Attractive nose of musk, dark fruits, tobacco and asphalt. Rounded mouthfeel. Flavours of dark fruits along with cola and sarsaparilla. Good acid bite with a fresh, long finish. Very enjoyable and still drinking well.

October 24, 2021 - Wine Society Cellar Plan from 2012 @£23 all in. Superb. Powerful black fruit nose, brambly full-on black fruit flavours with a hint of spice, Tannins well integrated and a lingering finish. Great value then, but current prices look high

May 30, 2021 - Bright, clear red colour. A touch of green pepper and dark fruits nose. Cassis, mushroom, dark fruits and a bit of pencil in taste. Long, smooth finish. Very enjoyable but still with plenty of life.
