November 14, 2005 - What a difference with last year's vintage. Pale platinum in color. Peach on the nose. Noticeably less oak. Peach, pear. Low acidity. Herbs. Light traces of oak/vanilla on the finish. I wellcome the reduced oak, but find this year's wine lacking in freshness.
