March 16, 2016 - Upon opening it seemed a little acidic, but this softened with air and turned into a very smooth wine. Great Walla Walla syrah and very drinkable. Soft but very flavorful. Drink up.

December 31, 2014 - Clear, garnet, very slight rim browning. Leather, chocolate, menthol, dried cranberry. low acids, medium to low tannins. Pomegranate. long balanced finish. Two more years.

September 27, 2014 - Tasted over three days, it was best on the first and second. The wine features an oak-imparted richness that is rarely encountered among WA Syrah, especially in this price range, that puts the mind to north Rhone. Good acid, focus, and depth.
