  October 4, 2019 - The wine continues to drink nicely and has grown up as a fine and graceful senior Cali Cab. The tannins are still there but pliable and the wine shows nice red fruit jamminess. But drink now you must as it’s probably past peak.

  September 29, 2018 - This well crafted Napa cab has aged well and gives a floral bouquet that has at least rose and lilac elements. The tannins have peaked and I believe this is the time to drink. The palate is greeted with blue fruit with a licorice end. Overall a well balanced wine made by someone who had the idea that you could age this and peak ten years later.

  December 25, 2017 - This note is for the 2009 Buoncristiani OPC which I misclassified as the cab, but was too lazy to go through the work of re-editing the purchase. A nice Bordeaux style wine with decent complexity and nice finish. It’s holding up well and can probably take a few more years of aging.
