Community Tasting Notes 2

  • MicklethePickle Likes this wine: 85 points

January 31, 1990 - With MPL and BLR in the office after work. Medium ruby. Lighter at the rim. Extremely enticing nose is rich, complex. Absolutely great, but perhaps a hint of V.A. On the palate, a very different sort of flavor. Kind of different. The fruit is a bit hard. Nose is the best part. 5-12-12-6: 85/100.

June 15, 1989 - With MPL at LWB. Rich red ruby. Varietal fruit in the nose. Very nice. On the palate, rich and good with a tarry quality. Somewhat bitter finish. 5-11-15-7: 88/100.
