Community Tasting Notes 8

November 1, 2016 - Cellar clean-up: I am positive we drank this (with grilled salmon) and it was delicious.

July 13, 2016 - Coravin pour. Initially tart fruit but then blackberry fruit and tasty too. Needs pizza - maybe time, too. We paid $15. Good qpr for that.

    December 12, 2015 - Just okay.

February 8, 2014 - Similar to previous note, except the mid-palate tardiness is not as excessive this time around.

October 26, 2013 - Consumed over 2 days, note from day 2. Nose; Medium expressiveness, stewed dark fruit - blueberry, spice, and smoke. Palate: Medium bodied, spicy dark fruit attack, falls a part a little thru the mid-palate where a tartness appears and dominates thru the back-end. Finish: Medium length sense of over-ripe dark fruit and smoke. Overall decent effort, but seems a bit overdone in the fruit and oak treatment areas.
