December 7, 2023 - Rich plum, red berries. Very rich classic Barossa Shiraz. Lovely balance with tannins subdued.

December 5, 2014 - Unbelievably good. complex layered dried herbs, leathery nuances just appearing- will develop with a few more years, violet flavoured fleshy mouth filling fruit, not a fruit bomb - very restrained, oak integration is EXCELLENT, tannins are not huge and i think this wine will peak in the next 3 years. Very very good. - needed 60 to 90 minutes to open up. decant next time.

January 9, 2014 - My first impressions of this wine weren't impressive but that was a couple of years ago. This beauty is drinking superbly now. Long chocolate and ripe cherry flavours dominate a smooth but powerful Shiraz. It starts out a balanced bitterness with the fruit up front and finishes long dry with subtle caramel sweetness. The ideal irony for an enjoyable wine.
