October 4, 2017 - One of the most reliably excellent Vacqueyras we have found. This is not as stellar as the exceptional 2010, but the 2011 is in a very good place right now. The tendency towards being a bit of a fruit bomb has evolved to an elegant, silky-smooth Rhone blend.
It is probably at this pinnacle right now, so I would drink as soon as you can. Great with pork dishes if not overly spicy.
Would go well with holiday ham or turkey, there is enough acidity left. -
