March 30, 2013 - This is a delicious wine! The nose is smoky, with scents of vanilla and oak and even dark fruit cobbler. The color in the glass is dark garnet. On the palate, there is a richness of fruit along with bright acidity that integrates nicely. The oak is there but not overwhelming. This is a medium bodied wine with good length and a clean, lip smacking finish that keeps you reaching for another sip from the glass. Overall a very well done blend. I also like the label, which is somewhat austere, symmetrical, and elegant with pleasing colors and typeface.
